I am a mom and as all of us mothers know the word MOM is very short but the description of that word just like the work that comes from it is never ending.
To me being a mommy is not just a job but a career! And what I mean by that is that a job is something you do as a short term way to earn money. Yes it's very important and it can be very hard work and important especially if you are relying on it to support a family, but a job as described by many is just filling a work role within a business in exchange for money. On the other hand a career is different, it is not temporary or short term but rater a long term pursuit of a lifelong ambition. A career has a long path and room for advancement. It could start off as just a job and lead to a long journey of learning, gaining experience, setting and achieving goals, working your way up to the top and much more.
If you are a mom then you will definitely agree that motherhood is not just a job you do everyday to make an living? It is a journey of finding yourself and learning as you go and growing as a mom and woman. There is no monetary gain in this career but the rewards and benefits are ever lasting.
There will be times it feels more like a boring mundane job that you want and need a vacation from, especially if you are a NEW mom but let me tell you, motherhood is a lifelong journey that will teach you life lessons, influence values, inspire you to do more, change your way of thinking and feeling and even shape the person you will one day become.
Yes motherhood is all of this and so much more because you are not only taking care your own needs and growing as a person but you are helping to create a life and future for your children and influencing their life, path and journey into adulthood.
I hope I have not lost you in this long post yet and that I have been able to inspire you in some way.
